Welcome

Welcome to the homepage of the Arizona Annual Pro-Life March and Rally. This year's rally will be held on Sunday, January 24th. 2010, beginning at 12:30 pm. Each year we gather together to protest and commemorate the 1973 Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision. Unfortunately, we have occasion to meet together again for this occasion, for the 37th year.

Please browse the site for information on the March, Rally and Diaper Drive. We encourage you to become involved, to invite your friends, and to contact us if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
AZ Life Rally Committee

Diaper Drive

Each year, thousands of Arizona women face unplanned pregnancies and economic hardship. With the rising costs of pregnancy and infant care, coupled with the tumbling economy, the need is greater than ever. The costs of Elder care are also rising and many senior citizens find themselves unable to afford the expensive adult diapers needed for their care.

Arizona Right to Life is partnering with Pregnancy Centers, Maternity Homes and Elder Care centers to conduct the state’s oldest Diaper Drive. People from all over the state donate infant and adult diapers, which the care centers then distribute to the people to whom they minister.

You may drop off a diaper donation to any of the following locations between now and January 24th (unless otherwise specified):

You are also invited to bring your diapers to the rally!

Rally Information

During portions of the rally, we will pray for forgiveness for the sin of abortion; compassion for the women, men and children tragically affected by abortion, thanksgiving for the many victories the pro-life movement has received, inspiration to continue seeking life-affirming solutions, and the direction for how we can bring about a culture and laws that respect life.

The rally will commence at Steele Indian School Park, at approximately 1:00pm, after the arrival of the March demonstrators. We will assemble in the Park Ampitheatre, which is located near the center of the park. You may park in any open lot on the park campus.

You may also travel to the March and Rally via Metro Light Rail.
*The Steele Indian School/Central at Indian School Stop is near the entrance to the Park.
*The Central at Camelback Stop is near the beginning of the March route.

Various speakers will offer powerful messages to inspire you to make a difference. We will hear from political leaders, clergy from various denominations, and pro-life community leaders. Rebecca Woodbury and Brandon Kegl will also provide musical entertainment.

Many organizations, all serving critical roles, will be present to offer resources, services and ways to get involved. Your action is crucial and we welcome your involvement.

We encourage you to bring your family, your friends and your church to the rally. Supervised children are welcome.

Attendees may wish to bring bottled water or non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, sunscreen, blankets and/or low-profile folding chairs. No refreshments will be available for purchase at the park. Please take care in disposing of all trash and taking all of your personal belongings back home. Park regulations prohibit glass containers. In consideration of the comfort and health needs of all attendees, we request that you do not smoke in the Ampitheatre seating area.

Pro-Life March Information

Every year on January 22, millions of Americans gather across the country to commemorate the lives lost to abortion and to take a stand for the sanctity of life. Here in Arizona, thousands of dedicated pro-lifers gather throughout the state to express their support for a culture and government which protects and affirms life. This year will be no exception as we gather united for life to express our sadness, memories, support and resolve to pursue changes in our laws and culture.

As a demonstration of unity and solidarity, we will march in Central Phoenix near two Planned Parenthood facilities. During the march, we will carry signs and banners that share the message of stopping abortion and choosing life. By marching, we will provide a very visible demonstration of support for the pro-life mission.

Assemble at Brophy College Prep before 12:30pm to participate in the March. We will peacefully process toward Steele Indian School Park (a walk of approximately 1 mile, though for those who so need or desire, you may enter the park sooner, for a shorter walk). To view a map of the march route, click here.

When parking at the school, please park in the BROPHY SOUTH Parking Lot.  Please DO NOT park in the St. Francis Xavier lot as it will impair parking for their 1:00pm mass.

If you do not wish to participate in the March, please join us directly at Steele Indian School Park. The rally will commence at approximately 1:00pm. We will assemble in the Ampitheatre. You may park in any open parking available at the park.

You may also travel to the March and Rally via Metro Light Rail.
