Rain Update

The forecast for Sunday is sunny with a high of 60 degrees.  We are still planning on the March and Rally taking place as described above.  However, if it continues to rain through Sunday and Steele Indian School Park is flooded, we will still continue the March starting at Brophy, but we will move the rally indoors to Brophy’s Gym, which is located on the North side of Campus.  If the Rally is moved due to flooding, then you may park in Brophy’s south lot as well as Xavier Prep’s school lot.  Please do not park in the St. Francis Church lot as they have a 1:00 p.m. Mass scheduled.  If there are any changes to the location, they will be posted on this website  on Sunday morning by 9:00 a.m.

Welcome

Welcome to the homepage of the Arizona Annual Pro-Life March and Rally. This year's rally will be held on Sunday, January 24th. 2010, beginning at 12:30 pm. Each year we gather together to protest and commemorate the 1973 Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision. Unfortunately, we have occasion to meet together again for this occasion, for the 37th year.

Please browse the site for information on the March, Rally and Diaper Drive. We encourage you to become involved, to invite your friends, and to contact us if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
AZ Life Rally Committee
(602) 285-0063

Diaper Drive

Each year, thousands of Arizona women face unplanned pregnancies and economic hardship. With the rising costs of pregnancy and infant care, coupled with the tumbling economy, the need is greater than ever. The costs of Elder care are also rising and many senior citizens find themselves unable to afford the expensive adult diapers needed for their care.

Arizona Right to Life is partnering with Pregnancy Centers, Maternity Homes and Elder Care centers to conduct the state’s oldest Diaper Drive. People from all over the state donate infant and adult diapers, which the care centers then distribute to the people to whom they minister.

You may drop off a diaper donation to any of the following locations between now and January 24th (unless otherwise specified):

You are also invited to bring your diapers to the rally!

Rally Information

During portions of the rally, we will pray for forgiveness for the sin of abortion; compassion for the women, men and children tragically affected by abortion, thanksgiving for the many victories the pro-life movement has received, inspiration to continue seeking life-affirming solutions, and the direction for how we can bring about a culture and laws that respect life.

The rally will commence at Steele Indian School Park, at approximately 1:00pm, after the arrival of the March demonstrators. We will assemble in the Park Ampitheatre, which is located near the center of the park. You may park in any open lot on the park campus.

You may also travel to the March and Rally via Metro Light Rail.
*The Steele Indian School/Central at Indian School Stop is near the entrance to the Park.
*The Central at Camelback Stop is near the beginning of the March route.

Various speakers will offer powerful messages to inspire you to make a difference. We will hear from political leaders, clergy from various denominations, and pro-life community leaders. Rebecca Woodbury and Brandon Kegl will also provide musical entertainment.

Many organizations, all serving critical roles, will be present to offer resources, services and ways to get involved. Your action is crucial and we welcome your involvement.

We encourage you to bring your family, your friends and your church to the rally. Supervised children are welcome.

Attendees may wish to bring bottled water or non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, sunscreen, blankets and/or low-profile folding chairs. No refreshments will be available for purchase at the park. Please take care in disposing of all trash and taking all of your personal belongings back home. Park regulations prohibit glass containers. In consideration of the comfort and health needs of all attendees, we request that you do not smoke in the Ampitheatre seating area.
